Great food, great service! The pork was excellent with good portions and flavorful sides. Four varieties of sauce. The best thing is the sauce doesn't overpower the great flavor of the meat. Nice casual atmosphere.

What a good little find. My family and I love coming to the place! We always get the real deal which includes a little bit of everything for only $32! I love their mac cheese! Great for families as well! Definetly recommend this place.

Love this place! A great, family-owned business. They even catered my wedding! The food is fresh, and delicious! Try the banana pudding. The smoked chicken wings are very good also!

Bland, boring food including all side dishes, but on the plus side service is quick and friendly. However, I went there for great food and that's not what I got. Rick's needs to hire cooks who aren't afraid of using seasoning.

Great freshly prepared meats. Side items were just right. Nice variety of corn bread and baked items. Salad and meat portions were reasonable too. Fast service and tasty. Parking area has improved. Lots of table space.

Great barbecue at a good price. Cafeteria style bbq. Pretty basic indoor dining accommodations means you're not paying for much besides the food.

Had ribs, green beans, cornbread, potato salad. Ribs were tender and tasty, green beans very good, cornbread not my style, potato salad tasteless. The place is clean and people are friendly.

What a find! Great Pulled pork, chicken and of course, the ribs...tender, flavorful and fall off the bones. Loved the choice of sauces, sweet, a mustard and an original. The mustard sauce has enough kick to it to make it fantastic. We also got the green beans, baked beans and the cole slaw and rolls. But beware, on a Saturday night, they close at 8ish...just glad we didn't miss it!

Yeah these ribs here are good, real good smoked and good sauce. Good sides and descent prices. I will be back for more.

First time eating here and I got the pulled pork with green beans and sweet potatoes. The pork had a really good flavor to it. Also tried out their barbecue sauces which were very tasty. Glad I checked them out.

Hard to find a BBQ place where the meat is not overly salty you can taste the full flavor of the meat and enjoy its juiciness even without the Sauce (4 kinds are available).

Outstanding food at very reasonable prices. BBQ is tender with great smokey flavor. The sides are delicious. Family owned and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy with what they serve. Only complaint is the regular cornbread. Very dry and tasteless. Needs some sugar and bacon drippings like my Mama makes. No way will the cornbread keep me away from what I think is the best BBQ in Polk County.

First time to Rick's. Lunch with co-workers; their idea. Parking lot was full, as well as, the dining room. The place looked clean... Rick's is a counter service restaurant. Ordered a #1 large pork plate with 2 sides and bread. The pork was good. Mac n cheese and the baked beans were just acceptable, nothing special. I didn't want to finish my sides; not because I was full, but because I really couldn't taste anything on the Mac n cheese and the beans were just not that good. I was excited that they had a roll alternative in their jalapeño cornbread. A small letdown though... Very heavy and dry. Some bites of the bread had a good flavor though. The sauces... There are 4: original (idk I just didn't like it), sweet (the only one I could stomach putting on my pork), mustard (tasted horrible, unlike any mustard BBQ sauce I had ever tasted), and hot (never tried it-so it may be really good). Sweet tea was good, I had to add a packet of sweet n low to mine. Anyways, the guys behind the counter were hospitable, but could have been more into their job (they reminded me of school cafeteria ladies). Looks to be a family business that was having a so-so day. Most likely, I won't be going back. It's not bad food, it's just that I've had better. So, don't take my word for it.... Go ahead and try it for yourself.

Let me start by saying that I wanted to give 4 stars, but was held back because everything was just what you'd expect from a barbeque place but nothing special enough to earn the extra star. The ribs were excellent and the meat fell off the bone, but the chicken and pulled pork seemed a little dry and needed sauce to moisten it. The sides (baked beans & potato salad) were good but weren't memorable. This is actually the 3rd time I've eaten at Rick's, and on my previous visits the food was more flavorful and not as dry. I'm sure it was just an off day so I will definitely go back and add a star to my review.
